Default fully built motor finally done!!!!

That is my car up top. My friend that works at Power Ford In Valencia, CA did all the work on my car (he has an all out motor 91 347 that has hit mid 11s in 90+ wheather) Besides the upper half of the motor being built, we also did my bottom half. The bottom half can handle up to 600+ rwhp. The car really woke up now (still untuned). I raced my friend with a 2002 ws6 ls1 w/cold air and full borla exhaust (its a 6-speed). He beat me when i was stock by like 8 cars. Now that i raced him, I beat him by about a car. Not bad considering that i have heavy rims and its a convertable. He has track numbers at Los Angeles County Raceway hitting a 13.6 so hopefully that puts me right around there. We raced a 1/4 for sure. Maybe hes a bad driver. Well just wanted to say that the forums inspired me to do this. Especially since around here their are alot of ls1s, terminators, and ALOT OF SHELBYS because Galping Ford is right around the block. Future mods are the v3 blower and the trickflow manifold. + 3500 stall and tranny cooler. Ill try to post pics of my motor tomorrow. How can i post a video?

Mods are:
Engine: 281 ci
10.1 compression pistons
Manley H-Beam rods
Forged 4340 Crankshaft
Re-machined and balanced at a local shop
Pi heads
Pi intake
Comp Cams xe262ah
cnl plenum
75mm Throttle Body (Professional Products worst company ever, i had to customize to make it fit)
cnl cold air + 80mm maf w/ 9" filter
Steeda timing aadjuster set at 16 degrees

Tranny:
Stock AODE w/ transgo shift kit

Rear End:
FRPP 3.73 gears w/frrp rear end cover

Exhaust:
BBK shorty
Prochamber mid-pipe
Mac 2.5" catback w/3" tips

Suspension: none yet

My friend was going to build me a custom turbo kit. He said that with shorties, you can flip them around and use them with the turbo kit instead of buying new manifolds. I really regret it now because i'm not going that setup anymore and im sure shorties do not add much of a power increase. I'll probably swap them out before i get my dyno tune (SoCalRacing in Anaheim). The only brand that i know of that makes Lts for autos is Mac so hopefully they are decent.

You won't be able to run much boost at all with a 10.1 CR. Should still make good numbers with about 6 lbs though.

Here a few more pics... Well in regards to the throttle body it was a pain to install, but it did make a good improvement. Also for my friend with his 347, it did not clear his stock hood and it poked through it and now its visible when its closed. Two large bumps which his car was in immaculate condition. I would rather go with accufab.
