Turns out it needed some more brake fluid. I poured some in after I bought some fresh DOT 3 (and 4) approved stuff, and since then I haven't seen the light come on.
Just an update. A buddy and I installed the new front pads, and I was really surprised with how simple and easy it was to do......****. With air tools and a C clamp (forgot what size, but I'd guess 4-6 inches is big enough) it was almost as easy as changing oil.
the fronts arent bad the backs are a little more pain in the @$$ though i had rather change brakes instead of changing oil in my opinion.
a little more of a pain? id rather do brakes on a dump truck again then rear brakes on the stang with all the stupid clips and ****, next one i do that needs rear brakes will just get 2 brand new loaded calipers and say F-it (which mine needed anyways)
