I made a thread about the meziere electric pump and I got replies from people who have been usnig it for years without any problems. The only problem I heard was that you can be using a crappy relay which can burn out thus causing the pump to fail. If you use a quality relay, then it should be fine.

There was also an article about the meziere electric pumps being put on a Z06 and what are the advantages of doing so apart from the obviously HP and TQ gain. One was that because it will flow the coolant at a constant rate, and not proportional to the engine RPM's, it will therefore cause the coolant to be more efficient.

I'll back him up and so will a lot of others. My experience with RPMOutlet was terrible. They sent the wrong part (a less expensive one but charged me full price). What I ordered was backordered and they didn't know when it was going to come in so their shipping department did the substitution. From what I gathered this was a routine procedure. Since all sales are final after 14 days, I needed to return it fairly quickly. They never seem to answer their phone. Calls about returns are forwarded to George who is never available. I finally got through to him twice and he was supposed to e-mail me the return authorization. He never did. I finally used the internet to get the return authorization. The return authorization says that if you use it you are agreeing to a credit on account only. No refund. I shipped the return UPS. They refused delivery of the package--twice--and it came back. The paperwork was inside the box not taped to the outside. I put the paperwork on the outside and sent it back to them via UPS and they accepted it. That was day 13. They don't pay return shipping even if it is their fault. After all of that I had to fight with my credit card company to get my money back.

Other people have said they received partial shipments and had to wait months for the rest of the kit. RPMOutlet's policy states that there is a fee if you cancel an item that is backordered. You need to read their terms and conditions carefully.

If you have had good service from RPMOutlet then you have been lucky.

I have had no trouble at all with the Meziere electric water pump but I had two cheap Chinese crappy relays go out. You can wire them without the relay.
