yeah you're right you are supposed to use the tool that spins them back in. If you use the tool and apply pressure then back off and keep doing that I think doing the back pads are just as easy as the front.

Can somebody please explain the spinning>than c clamp? I mean... your brake piston doesn't spin as it goes in and out during normal operation, so what's wrong with using the c clamp? I have yet to do the rears, but I did the front and used a c clamp. Everything is working ok. Somebody please clarify.
On another note, how do hawks compare to duralast gold ceramics? I've had the DG ceramics in for about a month now, and am loving the minimum dust and no squeeks.

when you install brakes, you are suppose to put that jelly type thing to prevent noise. i skipped that step, and have no noise coming from the rear at all. plus i got an awesome decal.
