i have an 03 mustang has 40,000 miles and when i go to start it up some times it not start on the first key turn or when it dose start it barely starts
any ideas??

mine does the same thing...
seems to happen more when its cold out
Occasionally it will happen if I run the car for a while and then try and start her right back up

so are you saying that it turns over but wont start?

it would help if you were a little more descriptive.

ya it will turn over but wont start it acts like it has a heavy cam but i havent done any thing to it.

Does it still crank somewhat fast... Its not cranking slow like a dead battery? If is still cranking strong, take the IAC valve off and clean it thoroughly. They tend to stick

I have a 2003 mustang too, had to change the starter and the problem resorbed, don't know if it is the same though, mine was not starting at all at the end. (Cold weather too, I live in Quebec, Canada...). I had a bit less mileage then you do.
