2003 Mustang GT Fuel Filter Removal

I'm doing my damnedest to remove the fuel filter from my car and for the life of me, I can't get it to budge. Is there some trick to getting the original fuel filter off the car? Each end of it seems to be snapped into a metal tube and it won't move no matter how hard I pull on it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

are you using the proper fuel line disconnect tool

I just found a thread for this very problem. I went to O'Reillys and purchased a fuel line disconnect tool and it popped right off. Thanks!
