Can you show dyno runs and gains with the CMS cams?

I really wouldn't worry about springs, unless you have a lot of mileage on the engine. You won't need to go over those rpms anyway on a street car. That's my opinion anyways, they are a PITA to do.

Objective, that's a joke if I ever heard one. Look at every cam post, hell, even look at your sig. You're not objective.

When I had my GT, I had VT Stage 2's and made 289rwhp with all the bolt-ons. The first time I had seen the HiTech cams, a local guy met me at the dyno with his newly installed HiTechs. He had exactly the same mods as I did, down to the brands, and put up 302rwhp. My cams were degreed in, his were put in using the AFM tool. On the dyno that day, my car put out 291rwhp. Now, different cars, same mods, his had a touch more mileage, but most things were equal. Given the factory differences in cars, 11rwhp is enough to be explained away by just a factory freak, but it made me sit up and notice the HiTechs. Doing some research, I've seen more cars with just bolt ons doing over 300rwhp with VT/CMS Stage 2's. However, all cars are right around that 300 mark with either cam, so I'm going to call it a push.
I kind of like the 111 centerline on the HiTechs vs. the 108 on the VTs for a daily driven car also. However, that 108 centerline does give a much more aggressive idle than the HiTechs, but idle sound doesn't mean more HP.

I call it a push. For personal reasons, I chose the HiTechs for this build, but either cam is excellent, hence me saying you're a nuthugger, since the cams have made similar power on most builds, with the HiTechs consistantly being a few HP higher.

As far as me being a "noob", I guess if you base life off of post counts, you're a Mustang god, and I'm a "noob", but I tend to live in the real world, where I don't just regurgitate information someone else posted on a message board somewhere to make myself look like I know what I'm talking about. Everything I comment on, I've done personally, instead of posting what someone else posted about what someone else posted. And I tend not to interject unless I have something to add, instead of posting x2 or x100000 or that sucks, buy CMS, they're the best.

So, while I may be a "noob" here on Mustang Forums, you sir are a noob to life in my eyes.

I don't doubt your mustang knowledge and we can debate or spit specs on a cam all day long, that's not the issue. You say the this car had the same mods as yours and it made more power but we all know, every car is different and comparing them is almost always apples and oranges. Hitech does not produce the same numbers as CMS cams, it's that simple. Like I said before, HiTech told me that themselves. They may have a broader power curve but they don't produce up top where it counts.

And, I called you a Noob for asuming you know it all and coming on to the board with a chip on your shoulder. IDC if you've got 7000 posts or 50.

Everyone has there preference in cams or parts but I'm sticking with and will spread the word for what works. IMO either HiTech needs to produce some real power cams or they need to go back to just building GM parts.

If me being crass and opinionated offends you, I'll give you an insincere appology and we can move on.
