Default torque converter pricing

i just finished talking to the ppl at TCI and for the streetfighter torque converter they said it was $801. is that an average price or is it low/high? should i look at other companies? i thought it would be alot cheaper than that. thanks.

Default RE: torque converter pricing

That sounds about right. The cheapest I have heard is 700, and the most expensive I have heard is 900 for converters. I need to look into one sometime soon after the head swap.
