My 99 GT has the work done in my sig. I have a clean K&N, so you can rule that out. The airfilter sounds like a hissing snake at idle. Its really loud, you can hear if from like 20yards away. Anyone else have this sound? I love it, but have never heard it from another car. Is this normal?

yeah the pullies are all working correctly. I know for a fact that its the airfilter. You can put ur ear under the fender and hear it sucking.

hmm, well damn. mine isnt that loud until about 1900 rpms. then agian, i have a v6 lol

It only happens at idle. I dont have a cia. I have heard my car from the outside at the strip, and after its goin, the noise just stops. I put on the accufab and 2 intake spacers on at the same time, and after that is when it happens.

Thats a ways to here it from if you not even running a CAI. What idle is your car at? Also, does it only do it when its cold?
