I would rather have stock spring than Eibach.
You sound like a candidate for H&R Sports (SS sounds too low for you) or Race....any reason you haven't looked into them? Or even Steedas? Springs have a far greater impact on a car than you seem to realize. They don't just lower the car, they completely change the dynamic of the car...

When I finish school and start working in the hospital as a Radiogic Tech, I can earn more money to do it the "right" way. I.E. Control arms, coilovers, etc.

^ don't do things twice, THAT is a waste of money you say you don't have!

I just put in racecraft 1.5" drop springs on my 01' coupe gt. They lowered it enough that it looks allot meaner but not so low that it rips your exhaust off when you hit a bump or speed bumps, car handles better than stock but it does ride about the same as the stock coils.
