my 2001 gt when I bought it had an aftermarket alarm installed on it which has since been removed. All that remains is a little led light to the right of the coin holder. If I remove it there will be a hole in my console, so id prefer to utilize it if possible rather than it do nothing at all. So my question is, is there any way to tap into the factory alarm or into the factory theft light so it will blink along when the factory alarm is armed.

does anyone know the wires to splice into ??

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated

I would be interested in this as well. My car had an aftermarket alarm system once as well and now all I have is the factory PATS. Luckily the hole for my light was tucked into the corner by my A-pillar and windshield, so its not really noticeable, but I wouldn't mind sticking a dummy light back in it.

I dont know how much of a help it is but here are the connector diagrams for the Instrument panel. I would use a DVOM to test the security wires before trying to hook anything up so you done fry anything.
