Default 99-04 auto to 5 speed swap wiring questions

does anyone have a good how to or a write up on what exactly needs to be done when swapping an auto , to 5 speed(t45) without getting the harness. i know it can be done but i cant seem to find anything concrete or for the right year car. i just need the wiring how to, everything else is pretty straight forward.

From the FWIW Dept., I will pass on my link to a T-3650 to T-56 swap thread

I am not sure how much good it will do you, but there it is.

i would stick with the auto, i love manuals, but auto is so much more easy, and from what i gather a shift kit + stall + big gears = sex.

Sports car with automatic trans = traveling
Sports car with manual trans = driving

i already have everything(minus the trans harness) for the 5 speed swap. the 4r70w is shifting like **** so im swaping cause i need it not just cause i want it. also total for the swap with a used t45 cost me $600!!! can even come close to any sort of performance auto for twice as much... and by the way the only used parts are the trans(out of a friends car) and ebay pedal assembly everything else is new, so the t45 should bide me time to save for the tko! plus manuals are just so much fun.

get a haynes manual i know there junk but the wiring diagrams are accurate, you can study it like i did and you can tell really quick what wires need to be spliced together etc. its very easy
