its always hard to start the stang up in the morning... i always turn the key and wait 5 or so sec for everything to prime then turn the key to start but it can take sometimes more than 5 sec and this morning i held it for for like 6 sec and let off and it backfired loud then i tried again and it started right up?

1 more thing how can i tell if my mass air flow is stock.. im pretty sure its not but i want to be certain

i crank mine over about 6 or 7 times before i actually start the car

try turning the key on for a few seconds multiple times before you start the car. my buddy has this same problem and for him it is a fuel pressure problem. somehow his pressure bleeds out of the system after a few hours. i would guess fuel pressure regulator but do these returnless fuel systems even have fuel pressure regulators
