RE: afraid i may be running a little rich
The predator bumps the timing 10degrees over the stock 10 degrees, for a total advance of 20degrees with the ability to advance it 2degrees more.
The timing page is a % of overall timing. So the most you can put in the car is 22 with a predator.
A steeda timing adjust allows you to advance the timing over 25degrees. But is not recommeded to run over 24 on a N/A 4.6.
So needless to say you haven't bumped the timing 1degree every day, but like .2 degrees everyday. Right now you should be running 21.2degrees of timing if you use the live data montiring.

RE: afraid i may be running a little rich
Where the hell did I get the number from?
I asked Diablo and they wouldn't tell. So i did a little test. Non factory tune 10degrees, with predator tune 20degrees, make a change to timing and is affected at base timing. Tip in while data logging and I have seen 40degrees advanced!
What people don't realize that the stock timing on the car is 10degrees. When you install a timing adjuster I imagine there is a procedure, set the timing marks on the car remove and install new adjuster. 14degrees on that I belive is 24 degrees for the car.
I am 99% certain I am right and will check tomorrow and post the results. Pics and vids.

Where are you getting these numbers from? Base timing is 10 for stock. No one knows what the predator bumps the timing too, except diablo, but its sure in the hell not 20. Most people with timing adjusters start detonating @ 14 or 15. Most folks set it to 12 or 13 I would assume. A guess for the pred would be 11 maybe 12 and you can advance it 10% max only. The ten percent advance will advance only @ WOT. During data logging and watching spark advance @ idle is not your base timing. Data log with the factory tune and you will see about the same numbers @idle

RE: afraid i may be running a little rich
darn I'm going in between 2 post my mental capacity is exploding. I sort of see what your saying and sort of dont. when i see 14 on a ta I see it at 14 but i can see you adding 10 my mind just doesnt work like that. but when i data log at idle with stock tune I go between 17-18 advance and with diablo i go 18-20 so that tell me the timing is advanced 1-2 degrees over stock, but i dont see that as base timing. keep in mind if you add timing in the pred it is only wot in %

See other post.
I guess it is confusing because I am going off base timing and looking at what is added at tip-in with the predator. Math is right but logically an be confusing.[&:]
