Next year will be finally getting a S/C. I was also thinking about going with a shaker system. Will the shaker work well with the S/C? Not really worried about the H/P that the shaker may offer just wanna get rid of the Non Functional hood scoop and the shaker looks oh so good. Any help would be appreciated. Thxs guys!

The shaker will work with a Kenne Bell. My has this on his 04.

are you guys sure it won't work with a keene bell? i see a lot of guys on mach1registry that do the eaton swap on their mach 1's and keep the shaker. i'm not sure what kind of size difference there is between the two, but it can't be huge.

and to answer the OP question, yes, a centri SC will fit just fine. the admin on nymustangs.com has an 02 GT with a shaker and a vortech on it.



and with a slightly different setup, procharger makes a piece that allows the air from the shaker to be routed near the filter if your filter is still engine-bay mounted

The picture shows a non-functional hood scoop. Look at where the intake is on both cars. They're in exactly the same position as on my car. On the bottom picture it looks like the intake is just dumping air into the engine bay. I was at a shop that was installing a KB on a Mach 1 and asked them the same question. They told me that they keep the Mach 1 hood scoop for looks (it would look like crap with a hole in the hood) but that its non-functional.

if you go to americanmuscle.com you can get the s/c to shaker pieces for 100 bucks that makes the shaker fully funtional to the s/c. it only works on paxton/vortech/procharger tho.
