i've felt what a stall does in a trans am my buddy had..but what exactly does a stall do? i'm thinking about putting a 1500 rpm stall in..do i need to upgrade anything else first? do i just pull the stock one out and put in the new one?

Stock stall is 2400... You need to match your stall to your torque. Find out your peak torque and set the stall for 600-800 rpms less that.
