Jazzer, other suspension guys step in....

I am not sure this is not just an NVH issue, even though it appears to be clunking. Once the OEM rubber bushings are gone, one will hear the drive-shaft U-joints and such MUCH clearer than prior.
Jack it up in the air and shake everything around until you get the noise.

Well now that the polys are in, there is no clunking. The stuff I am feeling and hearing now might be the u-joints and driveline stuff.
We had shook just about everything under there. Nothing made the noise. The poly's took the noise away though.
I'll look into replacing the driveshaft, u-joints and pinion carrier in the future when I do the diff.

just be careful running poly bushings in the upper arms, i've heard of many stories of ripped torque boxes. not sure if this is the case with sphericals on one end and poly on the other, but still, the 4 link is a bind pig. of corse, if you do alot of street driving, and not so much drag with heavy launches, then you should be fine.

I was referring to what you are expereince AFTER you replaced the bushings and the clunk was fixed.
