L of normal. Leads me to believe that the hot side is probably 245*F. I am not concerned because the 4V runs hotter than any 2V does.

The passenger side sensor in the crossover just reads temp right? It doesnt have anything to do with a/f ratio or anything? or is that what the other side does. thanks

Yea, the one on the drivers side is for the computer to tell the fan when to turn on and off.

My car never runs over 190... I have the high temp fan to come on at 185 and it seems to do the job. I have had it out on days of 90+ with the same result. It seems to be right between the 'O' and the 'R'. Somebody really needs come up with a sticker to put over so it reads the temp and we all don't have to read the gauge in LETTERS, thats just not normal

Agreed. Mine does fine in the mid 90's, just that Texas has been getting a major heatwave and the 105*F days are the ones that are getting up there on the temps.

yeah, one thing you might try is not using 50/50 antifreeze. Water is a better thermal conductor then antifreeze. See that u don't have to worry about freezing too much u could thin it out to maybe 80/20, mostly water. I know right now i'm running about 90/10 because i had a radiator hose pop off on a hot day after i changed my high temp fan turn on point to 215. Yeah that wasn't fun it was like 100+ and i was 100 miles from home and 60 miles from where i needed to be with almost no coolant in the car.
