My bassani catted x leaks where it joins the driver's side manual. I have tried adjusting, tightening, everything. Come to find out someone mentioned to me I was missing an insert, or a 'cup' as he called it. It is the circled part in the pic below:



It is supposed to go in the pipe evidently? Anyways, been having a helluva time trying to find one, as I do not have a part number or even a proper name. Can anybody here help with this? Would love to get my leak fixed.

Yep. My UPR midpipe came with one of those. I believe it is because to ball-flange a 2.5" pipe it ends up being a bigger OD than the manifold. So that "cup" takes up the space which I would guess is 95% the cause of your problem. I don't know where you would find one of those separate. Could just contact bassani and ask them.
