Default 1996 mustang 4.6 issues

i have two more issue with my new mustang 1st is
i have been hunting down a ruff idle and vaccum/air sucking sound. i have found that there is a hole/ opening on the tb behind the tps sensor that is not plug its about the size of my finger if i plug the hole the idea is geart and no more air sucking sound. what could this hole be and what should have been in there here is a photo to kinda show where the hole is http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...tangbad009.jpg

next issue is a ticking sound comign from the front of the motor that gose away around 2500 rpms. it dont change when pulling plug wires one by one and its got good oil pessure and its not low on oil. it kinda sounds lower in the motor around the water pump. i took the belt off and there is some play in the water pump but i dont know if that is enough to make the ticking sound here is a viedo http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...tangbad001.mp4 i also found two plug wires that looked like this http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...tangbad004.jpg but i dont think that would make for a ticking sound just loose of power right? any ideas would be great thanks

god man that sounds horrible i wouldn't drive it until you find out whats goin on. anyway sounds like it could possibly be a loose timing chain. only way to tell is to take off timing cover and check you timing chain tensioners. just my two sense. how many miles are on the car? hope you didn't buy it with this noise.

The knock could be the timing chains slapping around. It's in the right area too.
