Gearing Question
#22
With 4.10s in a t3650 you will be revving at 2500 rpms at 72 mph. With 3.90s it's 2200 rpms ....3.73s isn't enough if your gonna spend money on it. 3.90s or 4.10s will make you fall in love with your car all over again

@everette thanks thats a great comparison. for the 4.10 gears are the frpp gears still the ones to get? Thanks for all the help by the way this is all very helpful!!
Oh and at the mileage remark...
not worried about it... I will leave it at that haha

I actually went from 3.73's to 4.10's just recently, and love them. I did not notice a drop in mpg at all, and the car feels so much more alive.
At 75mph, I'm turning every bit of 3k rpms if not a little more.

ouch. 3k rpms? i cant wait to get 3.08's... lol with my SLP's the drone was bad enough at 2k, i can just imagine runnin 3k... and traction? omg... 3.08's + new mufflers ftw.
i was gunna comment on the 95 cobra + viper engine... but then i saw he had 2 posts and his account was created recently... and he "vehicle" says 2004 gt...
