Now, i have a while before i will be able to do this b/c my car is still under Warranty. But...

Do any of you know of any good Head/Cam packages? My dad had a head/Cam package put on his vette (back before the 427) and he only paid like 10,000 for the whole works (ordering parts, labor, and a few ofthers). And he jumped to about ~521 HP. So i was wondering who makes good packages?

I figured Saleen or Rousch...but i was wondering if there are any other tuners out there?

not sure if there are any variances between the gt and mach valve springs
vt or mph for cams, anything higher than stg2 vt youll need springs for the stock heads on a GT.

patriot heads: i'd search the internet for that one, lots of bronze valve guide issues. i have the stg2.

from a p1scGT(375rwhp) the stg2 vt blwr cam and patroit heads took that to 447rwph. those were made preforged and limited pulls so the rods didn't show up on the shop floor. there should be just a few more ponies still there. but i lost some tq low end w/ the cams but gained a bit up top i believe

you dont need it. when you tear down your motor to do a forged setup, throw in a set of cams. your heads and intake flow well enough to make 600 + hp with 15 psi. N/A, your car wont make much extra power, certainly not enough to warrant the cost.
