Default attempting engine swap (fingers crossed)

I am quite mechanically inclined but have never changed out a motor. I have an 01 and from what my VIN says it is a windsor motor. Found a sweet deal on an 03 rebuilt, but pretty sure that is a Romeo motor...will the Romeo work in my Winsor car? The romeo is complete including heads and intake so all I really need to do is remove/replace - anyone live in the Dallas area that wants to make some money helping me lol

welcome to the forum. I'm sure someone will come along with an answer, but a faster way will be to post in the mustang tech section under your mustang type. Good luck with that!

yea, it pretty much a direct swap if it comes with valve covers. the bolt patterns different on the heads for the covers. there are other differences but nothing to worry about or going to change the swap.

Yea that motor will drop right in, minor differences such as valve cover, water pump and a few other small things.
