Help! Trouble Starting
I have been having issues with starting my 02 gt recently and I'm stumped on what the issue could be. What is happening is I'll go to start the car and it will just crank over and over, but never start, however, an hour later, it starts up just fine, no rough idle, nothing out of the ordinary.
I have changed the frps and the fuel filter, tested the fuel pump and fuel rails, but still have no clue what could be causing it to not start. I can hear the fuel pump turning on, but even still it will still refuse to start sometimes.
Any thoughs?

An engine needs three things to run, combustible fuel (air and gasoline), compression and ignition--so obviously when it doesn't start one or more of those are missing.
- Check the MAF, make sure it's clean and that there are no leaks after the MAF which could create a non-combustible AFR;
- Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail with the key on, engine off (KOEO)--it should be 30psi or better (you may have to cycle the key between OFF and RUN a few times;
- Next time it doesn't start, after cranking it a bit pull the plugs and see if they are wet with gasoline--indicating no or weak ignition;
- While the plugs are out check the compression;
