just got my cams installed and along with it i went ahead oand got new lifters cause i just thought it might be a good idea considering its a 12 year old car driven very hard, but as soon as i got the car back the lifters are noisy as h***. The shop who installed it said they will make noise cause they're new, but everytime i get on it and go past 60 mph they go CRAZY! and make a sound that just doesnt seem right. What should i do, maybe go and get my old lifters put back in? i have no idea about lifters so help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Take it back have them take the lifters out and put lash adjusters in.
