Default Gauges

i ws looking into getting reverse glow gauges for my 03 gt...

http://mustangtuning.com/99-04-gt-eu...se-gauges.html

or

http://mustangtuning.com/fomu99gtsire.html

the redline on these is higher than mine tho...gt redline is what? 5750? anyways...i kno i could always just remember to shift lol...but does anyone find it obnoxious when driving/racing at the track? granted i dont do a lot of racing...but im just wondering if it could get kind of annoying and how other people who maybe have them like them. any input would be much appreciated before i spend 50 bux and hate em.

thank you in advance.

Don't have em, but I think they are a good replacement for the stock ones.

I have the silver reverse glow ones and really like them. I have a auto so I have my shift pionts set with my predator so I don't worry about the redline. the install is pretty easy the onlt thing that you really need to have is a volt meter to find the correct wire to hook it up to your headlight switch. I used a fork to take off the needles, the only thing is now my speedo is 5 mph off which is not a big deal to me, I will get around to fixing it one of these days.

You know about putting your gauge panel into test mode, right?
Hold the trip button in, put the key in and start the car, whilst still holding the trip button in. At some point, the display shows test. Let go of the trip button and then keep pressing and releasing the button until you see ENG00000 or something close. This is the digital speedo. Match the speedo needle to this and you are all set.
I went on the highway, used cruise control to set the speed to 70, and then had my girlfriend steer the car while I placed the needle at exactly the correct spot on the gauge.

^^^^^^ Yeah I know all about that, just have not been in the mood to take apart my dash and get on the raod to do that. I have checked my mph with thoes great radar check trailers that they put on the road that shows you your speed. So until I feel up to it I know that I am 5 mph off, no big deal to me

TIMI click on the second link above, they are the silver reverse glow gauges. It looks great I also have the satin finish rings!!! And the autometer gauges that I have match exictaly so everything looks great!!

I have 2 suggestions....

here they are:
if you really want some nice gauges...buy the ones im selling from autometer in the marketing section rigth now...they're pricey though. I'm asking 325 shipped as my lowest, I paid about 430 after shipping new, and they are still in the shrink wrap they cam in.

If you dont want to spend that much money, then I suggest contacting Jowen at the_decal_store@yahoo.com

check their site out: TheDecalStore.net

I got my old Saleen gauges from them...they looked awesome. They are also a little more than what you're looking at, mine were 70 shipped. But they can make whatever kind you want, whatever colors, redline, mph, anything... awesome work too.
