NVH issues in the convertible
I am having some issues with 'buzzing' in the cockpit.
The trim surrounding the radio & AC controls is one area. I am tired of 'holding' the trim to stop that rattle but I figure that should be an easy enough one to take care of. It doesn't take much pressure to stop the rattle so I was thinking of pulling the trim off and putting, I don't know, a small dab of rtv in a couple places or maybe the fuzzy piece of velcro on the back somehow. Wedging a matchbook in there would look tacky but I'm sure it would work. Any ideas?
The other one sounds a bit more involved and the bummer is that it is intermittent. It sounds like it is coming from behindthe glove box / passenger air bag area. Like I said, it is intermittent but when it starts it is really aggrevating. Has anybody else dealt with this, and if so, how?
By the way, turning the radio up is no longer an option. I've followed that plan as far as I care to.
