Rag Joint
I would like to replace mine but for the life of me I can seem to find what I need. I don't want to replace the whole lower shaft just the rubber. Its the only rubber bushing I haven't replaced. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

I think the reason your having trouble finding one for that year is because they rarely if ever need replaced. It should last the life of the vehicle and then some.
Unless your experiencing an exorbitant amount of steering wheel play at the joint then its not worth messing with it.

Its hard to say... I am replacing other parts this weekend. I'm pretty sure based on the shape of the rubber I have taken off other parts of the car that it has to be in tough shape. Steering is has some play. After this weekend that will be the only wear part on the steering system that hasn't been replace/upgraded. I mean I assume I can replace it and don't have to do the whole shaft.

If you do find that you need to replace the entire shaft: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...-Steering-Rack

I don't have long-tubes but I do have shorties. I still have a hard to believing a piece of rubber is really going to last this long. At this point it is the only part of the steering system that hasn't been replaced. Maybe I will just replace the whole column in the springtime. I just figured there would be a cheaper solution with replacing rag joint only.
