new radiator top hose,,now it leaks :(
I got a new top raditor hose, its the big one that comes out of the radiator and goes across the top of the motor, now it leaks at the end that goes into the motor. The clamp is the type that is more like a clip and not the type you can tighten with a screwdrive. This was put on at a tire store and the ordered the hose. Can i fix this by getting a different type clamp, or is there a certain place the clamp needs to be? thanks.

With the hose removed, look at the fitting (pipe) it slides onto. Typically, that pipe has a bead around the edge. You want to slide the hose onto the pipe as far as it will go and place the clamp above the end of the hose but BELOW the bead. You should not clamp over the bead.
DO NOT place the clamp around the very end of the hose and DO NOT place the clamp over the bead on the fitting.
