hey whats going on so I have this 96 gt and the intake is leaking it's a sohc can I put a cobra intake on it? will it fit? or do I have to fun the sohc intake its my play car not my dd so im just working on it when I have time for fun I just got done doing a stage 3 clutch in it its a fun toy just once I know whats going on with this intake I can fix it and drive it for the first time

 

Nope, Cobra heads and intake are a totally different design.

 

Unless heavily modded its best to stick with the stock intake.

 

You could also use a PI intake from a '99+ GT. My understanding is a little bit of rtv sealant in a couple spots and it works just fine and good for 10-15 hp.
