Depends. You can't just ask if it's worth it. What numbers are you shooting for? Do you want to stay N/A or add forced induction? Clearance will be a major issue. And if your not looking for numbers too high then it's not worth the time, money, and effort. You really need to tell us why you want the 5.4 and we can tell you better if it's worth it for you or not.

The link below describes one person's conversion. If he had chosen lower compression pistons and put on a turbo kit, it would be one scary modular mustang with a nice lightweight alluminum alloy block. The 4.6 blocks out there that can handle this kind of power are usually much heavier (non-aluminum).
