i have seen it done but i have also seen them through rods if i where you i would go aheand and toss a set of hbeam rods and forged pistons in there then it will hold it no problem.
i heard I-beam rods are better for revving higher. h-beam are for power adders

naw stock rods are fine. GTs use the same rotating assembly as the cobra does minus the forged crank and the cobra can spin to 7300 rpm all day long.

one more thing what the hell are billet oil pump geasrs
