Looking to get new clutch.. lil help
well i saw on ebay a stage 2.... well it says it only handles 370 hp / 390 tq..... are these normal number for stage 2s????? kinda thought it would be a little higher... also i would be getting an aluminum flywheel...
if so should i not go with this clutch and maybe go with somehting else... like the 99 cobra clutch/flywheel kit...
anyones advise/opinions would be appreciated...
thanks guys...
also i was looking to replace the engine mounts with polyurathane ones and also do the same for the rest of the car... the rest of the car is still fine but would it not be worth it? heard poly may not be good for DD cuz it gets a little stiff....
lil help with this too... thanks guys..

RE: Looking to get new clutch.. lil help
whats your power level now?
future level, realistically?
i'd say since you are changing out the flywheel look into McLeod. Ram is supposed to be good as with exceddy(sp). specs are puck style clutches and prone to chatter
Mcleod twin disk has a smooth engagement and stock like feel. no chatter even under breakin.

i'd say a king cobra or centerforce if you plan to stay at that level.
one more thing to take into account is the input shaft (10 or 26) of the trans if you are ever going to change it out.
