Default Quick Question

O.K. Income tax refund time and I got a few grand to do some work I just put on my lm1's and o/r X pipe. Now I sound loud and cammed. I was looking into blowers but i thought a new engine may be better. do anyone know if there would be an increase in hp from the dssracing MODular block, and would getting a higher compression block help? if I just put all of my parts to it and maybe a P&P head job. Also if I did that how much of a nitrous shot could I put to it. I rather do that than start modding my 100K mile engine. Because i figure I can get more power from it via FI because it can handle more. suggestions appreciated.

I dont know much about the block and compression you want, but personally i'd go with the new engine instead of modding a 100,000k mile engine.

Default RE: Quick Question

From reading the web-site it seems like they offer it in stock specs but it also says different compression pistons avalible so i was thinking I maybe could up the compression to about 10.5:1 or maybe 11:1 , just the highest I could and still run pump gas and spray.
I have a 96gt by the way

pi head swap would get the compression to around 10.5:1, and then spray it from there. I actually think nitrous works well with higher compression motors, just have to stay away from detonation.
