Throttle Posistion Sensor Problems
Well my old tps threw a check engine light, so i went to the parts store and got a new tps, anyways after putting it on, my engine idles at about 1200 rpms, compared to the 650 it used to idle at before the new sensor. I tryed to adjust my idle screw but its backed all the way out and it still idles at 1200, what would cause this problem? Maybe a faultly tps?

Try cleaning out your idle control valve while you're there. Give the sensor a little time to fully break in and then see what happens. There's also another thing that deals with your ideal called an idle speed regulator or something. Don't really remember the name. I'll check it out at work tomorrow.

try rotating the TPS, on the throttle body. Unscrew both srews like 180 degrees and twist it counter clock wise it will lower your idle. And turning it clockwise raises your idle. try that.
