A warning light is just that a light warning you that there is a problem.

A shift light is a light that tells you when to shift.

When you are driving there is limited time to look at gauges. Lights give you indications of what is going on. No lite = good in most cases.

I have not had any problems with my Raptor. You just need to be very careful with the wire harness and 100% certain of the feed line for the signal. It takes some time to find but it can be done. Tying in to power and ground should be done carefully too. I was able to tie in to a switched line next to the PCM and ground it using the PCM grond lug.

I put mine in the center of the gauge cluster and it looks good.

Hey SilverGTV8, I dont mean to highjack the thread. But where did you get your white face gages??? They look awesome I though yours was a cobra until I saw it redlined to 5750rpm. It looks factory, very very nice. All the white face gages I see look so terrible, they look so ricey. Where did you get them? And what brand are they? Thanks man

With the raptor you don't need the tach box like you would with the autometer set-up and it doesn't use "pills" like the autometer. It is cheaper in the long run to get the raptor and there is more customization with colors then with the Autometer too.

I have a g-tech pro which has a shift light built in. You can set it to any rpm you desire. It has 4 LED's pretty bright, just as good as those shift lights mentioned, I bet. Plus you can do alot of other things with it.... http://www.gtechpro.com/test.html
Since you got it dynoed, does the gtech seem pretty accurate on HP? I was noticing on the demo it runs a 169mph 1/4 and it had 192 HP? Strange demo, but looks cool if any of the other settings are accurate.
