P-51 intake manifold hood clearance

P-51 intake manifold hood clearance

anybody know if this intake will clear a stock hood or does it need a slight cowl

i think the 94-98 hood is a little taller in the middle because the 99-04 hoods have the part in the middle that is diped dowm to make the scoop look bigger. so it might work

You should be fine. In an article about the P51, it said you could use the stock hood w/ it.

You have to cut underneath the hood in a 99-04 to use the p-51, however I am not sure about the 94-98. sorry

I didn't have to cut any of my hood away to clear my P51.

yeah but you dont havbe enough clearance to put a napkin on top if your manifold and close your hood
