i have a big bore stroker that "david-k" is talking about and if you just do a small bore than you can do what ever you want
but when you say big bore it means .160 over which doesn't leave much room for f**k ups the stroke don't have any thing to do with power-adders ...... this pic is a 4.6 .160 over

yeah but is there a set of headers that will fit a 5.4l?
you need to cut off .75" on the primarys and weld te flang on

^Just checked out your 5.4L rebuild and I'm impressed, Can't wait for final results, and numbers.
thank you, its my first build. im only 18 so i cant afford forged yet. i am expectimg about 260-275RWHP and 350-360WRTQ. i also got a new clutch. i will post when i install it so look for it. it will probably be next week end. and a video if i can figure out how to post the pictures and video

i am assuming you are talking lt's if so they do clear all the steering witha 5.4l.

Who sells built short blocks for the best price. I'm not talking stroker or anything special. Just good forged internals/balanced. I saw that SHM has their's for $3000 now with a Cobra crank. It used to be like $3500.

That's not a terrible deal if it's basically ready to bolt everything else on to it. I might look into something like that if my current setup breaks.
