Default Flow master Super 40's 04 GT

Hi,
I'm new here, any problems I should be aware of? I'm welding a set of Super 40's on my stock pipes. I'm using the 2.25 I/O flowmaster part #92448. Big looking cans! Is heat an issue? Thanks ahead,
John

I have them and love them, get compliments all the time, but I am ready to be louder, O/R X-pipe and headers here I come. The heat issues Flowmaster warns about is very minimal.

To all that replied, thanks. Gonna install Saturday, tired of being out-sounded by my wife's '01 Bullitt GT.

They will be fine welded in. Thats how I have my 10 series. But man, get you an o/r h-pipe to go with them. Then you'll definately be louder than your wifes. What exhaust does she have?
