Default RE: noise that sometimes hear from my car

Thank you for things to check on, I didnt exactly know where to start.

Hopefully I can get it in a friends garage this week and jack it up, so I can check this stuff.

quote:

Anyone checking the transmission mount? I've never heard of one failing, but I'm sure its possible.

Yea check that out, espically if you have been hot ******* it around town. I almost tore my in half the last day of school pulling a number of burn outs. THey are an easy fix.
I'l have to check that too. I get in a habbit once and awhile. And, if cars could talk it woulld probly admit more than I would.
Offtopic: Normally my friend says his truck is faster, but I think he finally realized I wasnt getting all the way the last time we was planing a round before. He saw it break loose at doing some where between 20 and 30 in 2nd and continued spinning the rest of the way through second. He was behind me so I just stood on it when in second. Then later he couldnt keep up as easy as he expected when I was accelerating getting on the highway.

Tranny mount in my 02 GT was no good and it would clunk the moment I started to move my car.
would it be the whole mount then that would need to be replaced, or just the replace bolts and bushings and stuff like that
