Default RE: Help with a new H-pipe.

I don't mean to chime in, but I am soon to be ordering a mid pipe myself. Stock 97 GT except for flowmaster cat back (love it!)

I wonder what anyone has to say about the H pipes with the high flow cats? As most of you know the 97 style mustang has 6 cats, and I figure if I go to 2 that would give me good gains in sound and HP. I was looking at the catted BBK h pipe.

Thanks

George

I have a 2003 GT and I was looking at catted BBK H too. I heard some clips, and I was thinking of matching those with some American Thunders. Does that combo seem like it'll work ? I'm looking more into sound than performance as far as the exhaust.

Just one little piece of advice. Leave the American Thunder's where they are....in the store. Go with anything but Slowmaster. I have a Magnaflow Magnapack cat back system and love it.

Everyone will always say that the exhaust setup they have has the best sound.. what I've concluded from all this is that they all sound great and give similar gains.
