I own a 04 GT and I have some basics on it already which suprised the hell out of me as far as power goes.... I have a K&N gen 2 air induction kit, bbk shorty headers and a magnaflow cat-bak system..It's not much but I did smoke an 04 vette (which he probably diddn't know how to drive but nontheless I beat an 04 vette)... anyways... what should I do next? I was thinking pulleys and taking the A/C out then a MAF and then throttle body with a spacer... but my main question is if you think these mods will definitely help, after all this is on what size cams and heads should I go with... I have never gotten into cams or heads and need to know what size/kind to go with after all this is on... oh yea and after this what size fuel injectors and any other mod ideas would be appretiated
I call BS on the beating of a 2004 Vette....

dutily noted, and that's your opinion but I don't feel like arguing with someone on a thread about something totally different... and on another note it was only to 75 mph becuase the speed limit was 55... I'm sure he would have caught up but the point of this thread wasn't to brag about the topic of discussion at this point in time, therefore I see an oppurtunity to call end of thread....

Don't spend the $$ on a MAF unless you go FI.

I'm a newb but i read enough and search enough to know that 4.10 gears is what to do along with a set of good tires, catted x or h pipe, and a good cat-back exhaust and that should yeild you some even more happy results...

but then like everything else you get bored and want to continue to get faster and faster and faster until you turn into someone like code3GT hehe..

That is a great start to modding what you have listed there. Glad to see you searched some.

please see above threads, ie the stickies atop the forum, there are several in depth postings there concerning cams/heads/gears/ etc. check it out and then post your questions as those stickies will give you a basic understanding of what is to come and what is needed

What all do you have done to the Spev V, check the street/strip section and read through some of the posts, especially mine. If I were you I would either get a Mach 1 or Cobra or the new GT. A full bolt on Spec V would hand a pre-05 Mustang GT its ***.
