Stall converter or no??
I am currently in the process of saving up for MPH 2.5 heads, PI Intake Manifold, and custom grind cams from MPH. Here is a list of my current mods for my 1997 Mustang GT, auto:
SLP Longtubes
SLP Offroad x pipe
SLP loudmouth catback
FRPP 4.10 gears
Steeda UDP
BBK CAI
Accufab 70mm t/b and plenum
Transgo Shift Kit
I figured if i'm going to be spending this type of money for my heads and such, I might as well buy a converter as well. Is this a good idea?? If so, what brand, and most importantly, what stall?? Code, i know you know your cars so if you could chime in i would really appreciate it?? also, should i get a lock up?? a single disc?? And if you guys know websites where i can purchase these?? thanks guys

RE: Stall converter or no??
After talking to some people on the MPH forum, i have come to the decision that i am going to go with a Precision Industry Stallion 3000rpm single disc lock up converter. How does this sound for my N/A setup?? Keep in mind I am also going to be buying MPH 2.5 heads, PI Intake Manifold, and custom grind cams from MPH. One more question though...what should i do first, the heads/cams/intake and then the converter, or vice versa?? I'm not sure if i should do the converter first, so then i can get my custom grind cams done right to work with the converter?? thanks guys
