Hm i know absolutely nothing about FWD cars.... But wouldnt the FWD do BETTER from a dig? All the weight from the engine would be on top of those wheels for traction right?

 

roll race an auto and a manual GT with the same mods and the manual will win everytime... you cant downshift in an auto

 

if you go from a roll be sure its 28mph or under so that way your car will downshift to first, and not start from the bottom of second

it makes a world of difference

so just go from a 25 roll and you should bag him

 

lol who rolls from a 25 though? every roll race iv been in has been at 40+

I'm seeing a lot of low 14's posted online from factory tests.....like othes have mentioned, you should take him.....but don't expect to walk away from him. They actual weigh about as much as a 05 - 07 Mustang.

 

Mustang has the advantage in weight, torque, gearing, and RWD vs FWD. If you can drive your auto you should win... Besides you also don't have as much drivetrain loss as FWD cars...

I say Mustang GT... It won't be a blowout, but I would say a good 2 cars especially if you go from 0-100... which is a little bit longer then a qtr mile for you guys probably.......
