will i win??

everyone thinks the mustang will completely crush the gtp.... like i said before my 97 gtp (w/over 100,000 miles on it) ran a 14.6 with a horrible 60' because of the major wheel spin. and the funny part of the whole thing is stock for stock it would be a close race, mustang should win (unless a bad driver) but all the gtp needs to win is a different pullie, or more psi (and are both WAY cheaper then what it would take the mustang to get faster).
either way you should win like i said before, good luck

I always tried to get my friend to tune his, but he never did. The cars all come with at least a little knock already, and once you pulley down they really start pulling timing on the stock ECU. You have to tune them to get any results really.
I still say race him from a stop and eat him alive, it was boatlenghts between me and my bud, and I was bone stock other than filter/mufflers. From a roll it was closer, but hte longer we raced the more I put it on him. From a stop, it was an instant 1-2 cars and I just walked away.

a stock automatic probably... but an auto with a tranny cooler, shift kit and say a higher stall speed... manual will be eaten alive... and you can downshift if you know how to drive the stang

roll race an auto and a manual GT with the same mods and the manual will win everytime... you cant downshift in an auto

Ya because im sure the whole .1-.2 time difference between the stick and auto would make worlds of difference [&:]

it will be a really close race, if you were stick I would definitely GT...

At stock or bolton power levels, even with a stall/converter/cooler and programmingI would still say that a good/great stick driver could outrun a the auto car. From what I have seen, you don't start seeing great gains going to an auto until your running really fast times, like mid/high 10s.
