I believe with the BBKs you'd have to drop at least one side of the headers in order to do transmission work, could be wrong though.
Overall though... I don't think you could go wrong either way.
I just ordered a set of mac longtubes last week

Hmm. Does that mean the MACs clear the tranny?

I have MAC LTs (ceramic coated). Both brands are good, just make sure you get ceramic coated headers because they tend to not rust as easily as the other type.

my right side header is rusting from the AC drier, save up and get the Kooks, you'll only have to do it once....

BBKdents in one of the header tubes on the driver side so that the steering column can fit. They also won't fit an auto tranny. MAC doesn'tdent their headersto fitand they do fit autos. To me that says MAC has better designed headers with little to no fitment issues. Go MAC, but like everyone is saying spend the extra and get ceramic coated.

With my MAC lt's I had to put the steering arm through the middle of the tubes.
