dude i would just get a cb radio, thats what i think would be the smartest, thats what im getting since pulling out the stock sound system. of course i dont know if the help detect the police before the detect you. either way, cb's are sick.

Well i had some 100 dollar cobra one, it sucked dick. lol a cop had her radar gun out the window n i drove by on going like 20 n it didnt make a noise, turned around and drove back still didnt, took it back on the spot lol
But ya if i were you, get the best one like the Valentine 1, i have only heard awesome things about it. Idk how but i always like can predict where cops are, friends call me the human radar dectector, they like wtf how youd see that haha

Ive been looking at getitng one of these for a while now. Gotten pulled over once or twice by the county police, but i worry more about the state troopers on the side of thehighway.
Ive been looking at gettin a cobra model, and it just so happens that i got one for my birthday tonight. I got the Cobra XRS 9730. Cant wait to see what it does....

From my experience Valentine 1 is the way to go. Valentine 1 is a little expensive but its worth every cent. Valentine 1 has saved us from a few tickets and is very dependable. There have been many times when it goes off and you expect to see a patrol car in front of you. Just as you think that this thing is broken a patrol car comes over the hill. The warning gives you so much time its crazy. For sure worth the cash

i got a county ordinance ticket for speeding (was bookin it 135) at about 3 am in the morning straight backroad was stupid but no cars around and road was straight, slowed back down to the speed limit cop came flyin up behind me and pulled me over and was like do you know how fast you were goin i said no, and tried to argue my way out of it but he gave me a ticket for 15 over, point being his radar gun was off i didnt have a radar detector and maybe it would have picked it up (doubt it) but apparently they are certified to know how fast your going when you pass them he told me i was doing in between 90-100 mph when i passed him (didnt see him) it was pretty lame i felt i shouldnt have gotten a ticket for it but then again speeding is illegal[:'(]
