What year is your GT? auto or manual? If you have a 99-04 you'll beat your buddies V6 easily, if you have a 96-98 GT you should win but it could be a bit of a drivers race.

alright thanx guys for all your input i appreciate it.. well there is a kid at school that keeps saying his "MOMS" 05 V6 mustang AT will smoke my car. i dont think that would happen but like i said im a newbie so i guess ANYTHING is possible. But i was talking to a few of my friends which one of them is really good friends with the owner of Breenspeed i live about 15 minutes from there and he said he doesnt think i will be able to get 300rwhp so i was curious im still in school i would like to supercharge my car but money gets tight for a 18 year old... i am going to lincoln tech in a few months and i would like to buy a few bolt ons until i get then when i have the resources and garage space to do a supercharger.. any input am i wasting my money by doing bolt ons if i plan on buying a supercharger?? and if it is not a waste which mods would be good that i could use w/supercharger? thanks guys
The only thing that would be a waste per say if you are planning on a supercharger would be a Cold air intake and a plenum if you decide to go Kenne Bell. Almost everything else will compliment a supercharged application like thottle body, exhaust, gears, stuff like that.

Well since the year and exact model of your car is still a secret... if you have 2v PI heads motor or a 4v(which would be good night for any stock v-6). My wife was driving my car and beat someone who has a 06 v-6 AT no sweat. She doesn't even know how to race or care too most of the time. But she couldn't resist because this guy put cobra emblems on his fenders and she knew it was a fake.

sorry guys i have a 1999 Gt manual. i keep telling him he wont win but he insists that once spring comes we are lining them up. i would like to supercharge it but upon which one i would like to have i am not sure. which one would you guys suggest? so pretty much everything i could possibly think of besides a cold air intake and a plenum would be well worth my dollers? thanks for all the help everyone

with a 99 you should be able to hit 300 crank relatively easy with just bolt ons and a tune. Just be happy you dont have a 96-98 it will take quite a bit to get to 300hp n/a
