Default EEC-V???

I was ordering some tuning software for my bro(LS1) and was talking to the salesperson on the phone. The software that my bro wanted was of course for LS1s but, the salesperson said that they were working on EEC-V software for stangs too. They already have software for the S197s. As I remember, EEC-V is the SN95 stangs(96-04). Please correct me if I am wrong. I have some serious thinking to do. It is HPtuners software.

HPtuners-
-Bro has it
-Forums are dedicated to tuning so there is definitely support for it
-Tuned on laptop w/ wideband of course

SCT Pro Racer Package-
-Tuned by laptop as well
-I already have SCT software/chip now. I also have the switch chip
-Ability to switch tunes on the fly(I.E. 87,93,high boost tunes)

What do you all think??? Also, is the EEC-V for the SN95s???

just get a wideband o2 guage and ull never have to go to a dyno tuner EVER again. why pay 300-500 bucks for a dyno tune when u can spend 250 on a wideband and tune your car yourself?

I would be extremely reluctant to be an early adopter of any new tuning system, I did that with the Sniper stuff a couple years ago and had some hard times.

It is 110% great now, and I recently upgraded to their Commando package which is fantastic (it's the equivalent of the SCT Racer package).

Stick with the Racer package, other then editing tools once you get down to the scalars, tables, and functions one system is the same as another...

+1 once you find out how easy it is to tune your car yourself you will wonder why anybody would pay someone the obscene amount of money dyno tuners charge.

From what I hear SCT PRP is kind hard for a beginner, but sniper is very easy.
