Default GT Running REALLY rich with Xcal 2 Tuner

my car has been running crazy rich with my tune and been getting ****ty gas milage wat do i do?

common sense might tell you to go to a shop and get dynoed to see what your a/f ratio is.

how do you know your running rich? do you have a wideband?alot of people mistake it for the smell of the o/r midpipe.

How do you know it's running crazy rich? Is your nose that accurate? But no, when it gets cold as a witches titty outside, your fuel mileage is going to drop for various reasons. When did you get the tuner?

MJH, thats a great line...cold as a witch's titty. But o/r pipes will make you smell like youre running rich, especially in the winter cus your fuel mix is running rich already. So thats probalby the reason why. Or your tune might be a little rich for the winter use. just a thought.

it was running really rich b4 the xpipe cuz when i brought it to my friends shop the mechanic told me it was so im going by what hes saying and u can smell it

Just so you know.. my car stinks like its running rich, even with cats, but im actually running lean by almost .5(this is me glancing at it while driving, i havnt datalogged it yet) at WOT. normal driving im running a perfect 14.7

You're just over-thinking this. So your exhaust stinks?

Here's what you do. Throw it up on a dyno and you will see the A/F ratio in the 12-13 range, then get on Ebay and order the right foot mod. Then you can rest assured your car is ok.
